Khyber-Paktunkhwa Senior Minister for Finance, Sirajul Haq stressed the need to promote Islamic banking in the province and restore the confidence of the investors to invest in the province so that they can not only take benefits of opportunities of investment in the province but also take active part in the progress and prosperity of the people of the province.
He was addressing a meeting held at the head office of the Bank of Khyber Peshawar. Managing Director of Khyber Bank Imran Samad and other concerned officials were also present on the occasion. Senior Minister said the some people of the province have assets outside the country and it is a difficult task to bring back these assets in the province, but we are committed to do so. He suggested the increase the number of branches throughout the province. He further added that the media should be involved to create a message to the public about the 10 years' celebrations of Bank of Khyber at Peshawar. The existing employees in the bank need to be encouraged to further increase their education and skill. The celebrations will be held on 23rd November 2013 at Peshawar.
