Spanish delegation visits PU

A delegation of IBERPAK Group of Spain called on PU Acting VC Professor Dr Liaqat Ali at his office here on Friday. IBERPAK's Gullerno Martines Yuste, Oscar Pablos Garcia, Agustic Gomez Ruiz, Abdul Wahid Chadhar, Chaudhry Zahid Hussain, Director Planning and Development Tariq Majeed Qureshi, Director External Assistant Professor Maria I Maldonado attended the meeting. The delegations discussed various issues of mutual interest and co-operation. Later, souvenirs presented to the delegates.
While Punjab University Centre for Coal Technology (CCT) conducted a seminar about "Dengue virus and its Preventive Measures". Director, Professor Dr Shahid Munir, faculty members and students of the centre were present at the occasion. Ms Sonia Omer Assistant Professor from Social Works Department delivered a lecture about causes, symptoms, treatment and precautionary measures. The audience applauded the informative lecturer and wow to play a role in curbing this social problem.
