PU organises 'Lecture Series on Cosmology'

Punjab University Department of Mathematics organised two days' "Lecture Series on Cosmology" November 8-9, 2013, here at Department of Mathematics. PU Vice Chancellor Professor Dr Mujahid Kamran was the Chief Guest while Professor Dr Asghar Qadir, Professor Emirates, NUST, Islamabad, Professor Dr Muhammad Sharif, Chairman, Department of Mathematics and a large number of faculty members as well as students were also present on the occasion.
Addressing the participants, Vice Chancellor, Professor Dr Mujahid Kamran, said Professor Dr Asghar Qadir has great contributions towards the field of Mathematics. He praised the contributions of Professor Dr Muhammad Sharif, Chairman Mathematics Department and said he has been promoting research culture in the Mathematics Department. Professor Dr Muhammad Sharif, Chairman, Mathematics Department paid thanks to the Vice Chancellor for promoting research atmosphere in the University as well as sparing his prestigious time for attending the Lecture Series.
