The Confucius Institute, University of Karachi, is offering admissions to the certificate course in the morning and evening sessions. A spokesman of the institution said on Friday that the process of admissions would commence from November 11. For the time being there would be a one-year certificate course which would be in two phases of six months each.
The training in this course would be offered by the Chinese experts. The Karachi University official was of the view that the course would be particularly beneficial for those students who intend to go to China to pursue higher education there. The eligibility for admission is at least intermediate, it was further stated. The admission forms can be obtained from November 11 to 21 from the UBL counter at the University's Silver Jubilee Gate. The list of the successful candidates would be put on display at November 26.
