National Engineering Services Pakistan (Nespak) Private Limited has been awarded the prestigious World Trade Centre Project in Islamabad and the Crescent Bay Project in Karachi. According to the spokesperson of the Nespak, a consultancy services agreement has been signed between Nespak and Al Ghurair Giga (Pvt) Limited for the World Trade Centre, which is being constructed at DHA, Phase-II, Islamabad.
Nespak scope of services includes design vetting and construction supervision of architectural finishes, heat ventilation and air-conditioning (HVAC), lifts, electrical and plumbing works. The scope also includes review & comments on architectural design of the works, design of landscaping, infrastructural works and the traffic study. The total covered area of the Trade Centre is 226,497 sqm.
Meanwhile, the Emaar-Giga Karachi Limited has awarded to Nespak design review/vetting and construction supervision of Crescent Bay Project. The site is located to the south east of reclaimed peninsula of Clifton, Zone-E spread over an area of approximately 44 hectares.
The master plan consists of 47 residential, five office towers, Icon Tower (consisting retail mall, etc), a hotel, a club house, a mosque, a community centre, roads and other essential utilities. In addition to design review of already designed apartment towers, the client has also selected Nespak for the detailed architectural and engineering design of five towers of varied accommodation on the same premises. Each tower is foreseen to be more than 20-storey.
