Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) Chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman has termed the Rawalpindi incident as a conspiracy, saying hatred based on sects is unacceptable and people should foil the nefarious design of sectarian monsters who want to pitch Muslims against Muslims.
According to a spokesperson of the party Jan Achakzai, the JUI-F chief said that he has been assured by Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif to arrest culprits involved in the killing incident of Darool Aloom Ul Quaran and will investigative through a High Court Judicial Commission.
Speaking with a delegation of Darool Aloom Ul Quaran Raja Bazaar including Maulana Zahoor Alwi and Maulana Naseer Farooqi, Maulana Fazlur Rehman said that the Chief Minister assured him that a High Court judicial commission will soon be formed and all those found guilty will be punished as per the law.
He said that the Chief Minister also assured that compensation will be give to the victims' families. He appealed to Ulema-e-Karam to maintain calm and not give in to provocation of miscreants. Earlier, Maulana Fazlur Rahman spoke to Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif, Chief Secretary Punjab and Commissioner Rawalpindi and urged them to help the administration of the seminary and Ulema to retrieve bodies and help the injured. He also called upon Ulema to help calm the situation in the country. He said that the administration of Rawalpindi did not intervene timely and fire brigade services were not dispatched as a result 10 people lost their lives.
