Once again Apple mocks Android in its latest ads
The ad-mocking war has started yet again as Apple has kind of mocked Android and other devices, comparing to its iOS and iPhone respectively in its newly released ads.
Apple recently released two 15-second-long ads, one that mocked Play Store – which it regards as ‘your store’– with its App Store and in the other one it mocks the photos taken from ‘your phone’ as compared to iPhone.
The first ad shows two sides - ‘your store’ and ‘App Store’. A woman is first standing in ‘your store’ where she grabs a box from a shelf that then blows up in her face. She then walks over to the other App Store side, grabs a box and no explosion happens. Whilst, another blast happens at the ‘your store’ side, tumbling the whole shelf down, indicating that App Store is ‘safer’.
Huawei and Motorola take their turns at mocking Samsung in their ad
Though the company did not directly call out Google Play Store but it’s clear that the first side in the ad is supposedly signifying Android app’s experience, as per Tech Juice.

In its second ad, Apple has compared pictures taken by ‘your phone’ and iPhone by highlighting the ‘Portrait Lighting’ feature that iPhone uses for ‘amazing portraits’, as the ad states. In the ad, there are the same two sides, one with ‘your phone’ and the other with iPhone. Two girls pose for portrait photos. The girl at the iPhone side gets better pictures whereas, the girl on the other side does not. Thus, she moves over to iPhone side and pushes the other to take her own photos.

With these ads, it’s possible that others might mock Apple too with their ads and thus start an ad-war again.
