Provincial Commissioner for Children complaint will soon be appointed in Sindh to oversee the children complaint operations under the supervision of Ombudsman Sindh. This was stated by Asad Ashraf Malik, while exchanging views with Ejaz Qureshi, appointed recently as Federal Commissioner for Children Complaint at the Federal Ombudsman Secretariat, Islamabad.
They discussed modalities and mechanisms for synergizing efforts and resources between Federal and Provincial Ombudsman Offices for improving matters relating to children complaint. It may be recalled that Child Complaint Office was established in 2009 at the Provincial Ombudsman Secretariat Sindh with the co-operation of UNICEF for redressing the problems of child abuse in Sindh.-PR
