CDA's policies: unprecedented participation in bidding shows investors' trust
Chairman Capital Development Authority (CDA) Nadeem Hassan Asif said that the unprecedented participation by the investors and their keen interest in the bidding shows investors confidence in transparent and open policies of CDA administration in line with the investors' friendly policies of the federal government.
He said that CDA would provide enabling environment and level playing field to all the investors in the federal capital, which would generate economic activity and create job opportunities. The three-day process for auction of 56 commercial plots by the CDA started here at Jinnah Convention Centre on Monday. The auction process will continue for next two days.
The first day witnessed keen interest and participation by the investors from Pakistan and abroad. On first day, six commercial plots were auctioned. All the plots in Monday's auction fetched much higher prices as compared to the previous years, which was testimony of investors for reposing confidence in CDA's transparent and investment friendly policies.
Investors from Lahore and Karachi were also participating in the auction process through video link for the first time. Foolproof security arrangements for the participants were made in co-ordination and co-operation with District Administration and Islamabad Police.-PR
