Delegates representing a private and a public university of Turkey visited SZABIST on November 18, 2013. Delegation from Konya Mevlana (Rumi) University comprised Dr Bahattin Adam, Chancellor, Orhan Genç International Students Co-ordinator and Hakan Gok, International Relations and Linkages Co-ordinator.
Whereas, the delegation from Izmir Katip Celebi University included Dr Atila Ibrahim Acar, Vice Chancellor, Dr Yasemin Tokem, Vice Dean of Health Sciences, Yasemin Tutar, International Relations and Linkages Co-ordinator, Remzi Kaya, Media Co-ordinator and Adnan Yaman, Director Karachi Chapter, Rumi Forum.
During the visit, the delegation met with Dr Azra Fazal Pechuho, Chancellor SZABIST, Dr Amanat Ali Jalbani Vice President (Academics) and all Heads of Departments. The delegation expressed keen interest in developing strong linkages with SZABIST so that both universities can benefit from the students and faculty exchange activities such as; joint research, summer programmes, conferences, seminars and study tours. The delegates appreciated the quality of facilities available at SZABIST for students' education. Turkish Delegates invited SZABIST faculty and staff members to visit their universities.-PR
