Secretary, Regional Transport Authority (RTA), Niamatullah and Additional Assistant Commissioner (AAC) Irfanuddin on Tuesday sealed three rent-a-car services in a grand operation against illegal transport business. According to the details on the orders of Peshawar High Court (PHC) Secretary RTA Niamatullah and AAC-IX Irfanuddin, DSP Traffic Asghar Khan along with heavy contingent of traffic police launched grand operation against illegal rent-a-car stands established on service road along G T Road.
During the operation, the administration sealed three rent-a-car services including Afridi Rent-A-Car, Geo Afridi Rent-A-Car and Haji Afridi Rent-A-Car after declaring them illegal and directed them to obtain No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the office of Secretary RTA and on the passage of deadline warned of initiating action against them.
