ISE index improves by 20.56 points

Bulls dominated the proceedings at the Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) on Thursday, where equities continued to move in upward direction with positive trend at the ISE amid increase in index. ISE Ten Index showed an improvement of 20.56 points as the ISE Ten Index moved from 4,402.99 to 4,423.55 points. The overall turnover amounted to 85,000 shares as compared to previous volume of 18,500 shares.
Total 134 companies participated in buying and selling activity. Majority of stocks (59) closed in positive territory, 75 closed in negative territory, whereas zero company remained pegged to its overnight levels. The volume of Sui Southern Gas was 60,000 shares. The volume of Askari Bank was 12,000 shares. The volume of PTCL was 10,000 shares.
