Rangers on Friday claimed to have arrested 13 hardened criminals during targeted raids in different parts of the city and recovered arms and ammunition from their possession. Rangers targeted raids in Shah Faisal Colony, Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Mianwali Colony, Manghopir, Salar Compound, Karnal Basti, Old Golimar, Hazara Colony - Chakiwara, Nishter Road, Gulshan-e-Mazdoor, Furniture Market - Liaqatabad and Bin Qasim areas last night.
It also carried out snap checking at Do Talwar - Clifton and Singho Lane areas. Rangers also recovered SMGs and huge quantity of mixed ammunition.
