Gmail users are being offered an option to save email attachments directly to Google Drive. Pictures and documents are displayed under the email as thumbnails and clicking on them will open a full-screen view. There are two new icons: the first downloads the attachment to the user's hard drive and the second saves it to Google's cloud platform Drive.
The choice will make it easy for users to access their content across a range of devices such as smartphones and tablets. It'll be rolled out to all Gmail users in the coming weeks, Google said.
