Chief of his own faction, Jamiat-e-Ulema Islam (JUI-F), Mualana Falzur Rehman said on Sunday that the blockage of Nato supply routes was no solution to Pakistan's problems, called for unified efforts bringing peace and stability in the country, particularly in KP and Fata. Terming the sit-in of Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf a drama, Fazl alleged that Imran Khan was sabotaging the national consensus created by All-Party Conference (APC) over negotiation with Taliban.
He was speaking at a public gathering at Sabirabad district Karak, said that on one hand, PTI-led government was receiving foreign aid of $105 million and on the other hand, it was blocking Nato supplies. In addition to Nato supply blockage, the government should also block dollar supply, he opined. He said JUI-F has summoned a tribal jirga on November 28 to discuss resumption of talks with militants.
Religious schools of thought including Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) aim to bring about Shariah in Pakistan according to the constitution, he claimed. JUI-F chief said Khyber Pakhtunkhwa was on fire and all the stakeholders had to fight it down jointly. "Times are critical for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for it is the most vulnerable province militancy wise", he added.
For peace in the country, he said, it was JUI-F, which proposed the dialogue was the way to go. "We advocated that talks were indispensable for peace. The subsequent dialogue process, though short-lived, very well proved our policies far-reaching and the leadership farsighted", said he. He stressed that JUI-F was not in the favour of shedding blood for this peaceful cause, adding the constitution would continue to be trampled like this unless Islam governed the whole system. He said that Imran Khan was the representative of Western civilisation that why there was clash of civilization with him.
On the occasion former Chief Minister Akram Khan Durani also addressed to the gathering and strongly criticised the PTI and Jamaat-i-Islami. He claimed that running of government was not a job of PTI. The KP former provincial minister Mian Nisar Gul announced to join JUI-F on the occasion.
