ISE index up by 17.83 points

Bulls dominated the proceedings at the Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) on Monday, where equities continued to move in upward direction with positive trend at the ISE amid increase in index. ISE Ten Index showed an improvement of 17.83 points as the ISE Ten Index moved from 4,413.88 to 4,431.71 points. The overall turnover amounted to 389,600 shares as compared to previous volume of 27,500 shares.
Total 144 companies participated in buying and selling activity. Majority of stocks (95) closed in positive territory, 49 closed in negative territory, whereas zero company remained pegged to its overnight levels. The volume of PTCL was 350,000 shares. The volume of Lafrage Pakistan Cement was 35,500 shares. The volume of Fauji Fertilizer Co was 2,000 shares. The volume of Silk Bank was 2,000 shares.
