The Punjab government has directed the price control magistrates to take strict action against hoarders, adulterators and profiteers. Presiding over a special price control meeting Provincial Minister for Co-operative, Malik Muhammad Iqbal said that Punjab government has taken various steps for providing edibles to the consumers on cheaper rates throughout the province so that maximum relief could be given to the general public.
The minister directed the administration to take strict action against hoarders, adulterators and profiteers and leave no stone unturned in providing maximum relief to the consumers as per the policy of Punjab government in fruits and vegetables markets and bazaars.
