Apple might copy significant feature of Galaxy Note for iPhone X Plus

Where apparently everyone is copying Apple’s iPhone X design, this time Apple will copy rival Samsung’s Galaxy Note

Where apparently everyone is copying Apple’s iPhone X design, this time Apple will copy rival Samsung’s Galaxy Note for its upcoming iPhone X Plus.

The main difference that sets Galaxy Note apart from other Samsung devices is its stylus. New reports suggest that its competitor Apple’s upcoming ‘Rolls-Royce’ iPhone X Plus will support the ‘iPen’ feature, suggested analyst Jun Zhang as reported by Apple Insider.

As Phone World explains, the forthcoming iPhones have already gotten their unofficial names. The 6.1-inch LCD model is being referred to as ‘Jaguar’, the 5.8-inch OLED model is called ‘Porsche’ and the 6.5-inch OLED phone is named as ‘Rolls-Royce’, which will also be 2018’s most expensive phone by Apple.

Samsung too might follow Apple by releasing ‘notch’ styled smartphone

Zhang suggests that the new ‘Rolls-Royce’ model will come in with a support of iPen that might refer to the Apple Pencil or a similar device. However, this stylus won’t be included in the box with the iPhone that means user might have to buy it separately, unlike Galaxy Note.

Furthermore, the report also predicted that the phone will come in with dual-SIM support that will make it more appealing for markets in China and such, and enhanced 3D sensors that will consume less battery.

Zhang also predicted the estimated prices of the phones saying, “We believe the LCD model is being positioned to be priced more aggressively – in the $799 range,” further suggesting that it would help push iPhone 6 and iPhone 6s users to upgrade to the ‘iPhone 8S,’ apparently also known as the ‘Jaguar’ model.

Though the report is still not confirmed, but Apple does have patents that inform about stylus support for iPhone, BGR wrote.
