ISLAMABAD: Pakistan's annual inflation rate edged up to 3.68 percent percent in April from 3.25 percent a month earlier, the Bureau of Statistics said on Wednesday.
On a month-on-month basis, the inflation rate was 1.82 percent in April, the bureau said. In March it was 0.31 percent.
Food items such as fresh vegetables and tomatoes were the main reason behind the increase in month-on-month prices.
