The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP) organised the annual Inter RAETs Debate Competition amongst CA students studying in RAETs at ICAP houses (Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad). The topics of the competition were "Chase your Passion not Pension". Heated debate followed as the participants presented their stance very persuasively. Students from RAETs actively participated in the competition and won the applause and appreciation of all. Participants came up with good arguments.
The knowledge and the interpersonal skills of the participants were tested and at the end they received important guidelines regarding improving their presentation styles, and contents by the jury members who are renowned senior Chartered Accountants. The 2nd runner up positions went to Khurram Abaid Shah, PAC, Lahore, Zehra Ilyas, Karachi and Muhammad Ali Abbasi, SKANS, Islamabad. The 1st runner up positions went to Ahsan Amin, CFE, Lahore, Muhammad Mirza Saad Baig, Tabanis, Karachi and Ahmed Khan, SKANS, Islamabad. The 1st positions awarded to Usama Mehmood, CFE, Lahore, Maira Arshad, Tabanis, Karachi and Ashab Naseem Janjua, School of Business and Management, Islamabad.-PR
