The Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah has condemned attempt of Bomb attacks on ARY News Channel by planting explosive material in front of its office in Karachi, has directed the Inspector General of Sindh Police, Additional Inspector General Karachi to inquire into this incident, identify the culprits, submit report to him within 24 hours, try to arrest the responsible within shortest possible time and to provide full security to all Media Houses in the Karachi.
Taking the serious notice of the attacks on the Media Houses in Karachi, the Chief Minister Sindh said that no power of the world can deprive the people and Media Organisations form enjoying their basic right of expression of view/news independently. He said that terrorists now have been afraid of expression of news/ views about their brutalities to the people being exposed by these media houses and as such terrorists are attacking on them to keep them calm.
Recalling / condemning the such attacks on Express TV workers, AAJ, WAQT and now ARY News Channels, the Chief Minister Sindh paid rich tribute to the management and workers of these news channels for performing their professional duty bravely and exposing the criminals at the risk of their as their other colloquies are doing. He assured that Sindh Government, other media fraternity and whole nation was with them in this jihad for self rights.
The Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah was of the view that today Provincial and Federal Governments, whole nation and All Media Organisations are united and on same page against the terrorism and added that such attacks on people or Media Organisations would further bring them more closely rather than discouraging them.-PR
