Idea of Pak-India cricket series at district level appreciated: HC to India meets Khyber Pakhtunkhwa minister
Pakistani High Commissioner to India Salman Bashir appreciated the idea of Pak-India Cricket series at Club and district level, especially Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa and Delhi District level Cricket teams' matches will be another opportunity for development of people to people interactions.
Pakistani High Commissioner Salman Bashir was talking with a high level KP delegation headed by KP Minister for Sports and Tourism Mahmood Khan at Pakistani High Commission in New Delhi, says a press release issued here on Tuesday. The delegation was also included Secretary Fata Olympic Association Shahid Shinwari, Secretary Malik Saad Shaheed Sports Trust (MSSST) Amjad Aziz Malik, MSSST Member Board of Trustees & Secretary PCFA Khyber Syed Ali Nawaz Gilani and Sports Officer Naseem Javed Mufti while Deputy High Commissioner of Pakistan in India Mansoor Ali Khan, Press Minister Manzoor Memon, First Secretary Samina Sayed apart from other officers of the Pakistani High Commission in India.
Provincial Minister and Leader of delegation Mahmood Khan also presented shield to the High Commissioner Salman Bashir. Salman Bashir also mentioned that leaders of various social, cultural and Sports organisations are playing their role in Pak-India Relations for positive improvement.
Mahmood Khan informed Salman Bashir that Peshawar & Delhi Cricket Matches initiative was proposed for the purpose that players should get the experience of international experiences however due to non-issuances of visas from Indian High Commission in Pakistan the team visit could not materialise. The Pakistani High Commissioner welcomed the delegation visit and offers all possible support for their noble initiative.
