Rates moved both ways on the wholesale grain market on Tuesday in the process of modest trading, dealers said. On the cereals side, Moong Punjab and Peshawar picked up Rs 315 to Rs 11000 due to strong demand, Gur was higher by Rs 200 to Rs 4700-5100, other commodities did not move any side owing to balanced demand and supply position, they said.
On the seeds side, castor seeds Lasbela was lower by Rs 50 to Rs 1950, castor seeds Sindh also shed the same amount to Rs 1750 and the castor seeds Lakhra fell sharply by Rs 150 to Rs 1950, they said. On the grams and rice sectors prices were unmoved in the process of trading, they said.
