Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah while expressing his dissatisfaction over the regularisation of villages and issuance of sanads title of ownership to the villagers has constituted five members committee under the supervision of Senior Member Board of Revenue to expedite the process of regularisation of the villages of the Karachi and complete the task within two months period.
This he directed while presiding over the high level meeting to review over the work for regularisation of villages of Karachi Hyderabad and Thatta districts held at CM House Karachi here on Wednesday, said a statement. The Senior Member Board of Revenue Fazal Rehman, Secretary to CM Rai Sikandar, Member Land Utilisation, PD Gothabad BOR, Deputy Commission West, Malir and other officers of lined departments, member Gothabad Lal Bux Bhutto, Vice Chairman Gothabad Haji Qasim Baloch attended the meeting.
Addressing the meeting, the Chief Minister nominated DC West, D.C Malir, PD Gothabad, Member Land Utilisation as members of the committee who to be assisted by Lal Bux Bhutto and Haji Qasim Baloch in this task. The Chief Minister expressed his grave concern over the slow process of regularising the villages and said that it to pose threat to local villagers from the land-mafia. He said that in case of such a situation the officers concern would be held responsible. He said that when being Chief Executive he himself consider accountable to the Sindh Assembly, his party leadership and particularly to the people of Sindh.-PR
