A couple was killed in a road accident at Sakhi Sarwar Road here on Wednesday. According to the police, Pir Bukhsh (26), his wife Phophal Mai (28) and a five years' old relative Sunar son of Mitha Khan were riding a motorcycle on Sakhi Sarwar Road when a rashly driven truck hit them. As a result, Pir Bukhsh and his wife died on the spot while the child received injuries. The injured was shifted to DHQ hospital, DG Khan by the rescue team.
Sakhi Sarwar Police are searching the driver who fled from the scene, leaving behind the truck (ZAB-6408) on the scene of accident. The police have taken the truck into custody and registered a case against truck driver.
