Business community of Multan, Bahawalpur and Dera Ghazi Khan on Saturday hailed the government's decision to restore the gas supply to export-oriented industries of Punjab. President of Multan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MCCI), Khawaja Muhammad Usman said that decision was taken to readdress the national economic growth related issues. He said MCCI welcomed restoration of gas supply to the Punjab-based textile mills from February 21, and this decision boosted industry's confidence on government policies.
