Chairman Mohajir Qaumi Movement Haqiqi (MQM-H), Afaq Ahmed, has rejected the reports about the possibility of his joining Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM). In a statement, issued here on Thursday, Afaq Ahmed clarified that reports about his plans to join MQM are baseless." I never belonged to MQM-A nor will ever be party to it" he added.
Afaq said that he never went to London and is currently residing in Dubai. He reiterated his old resolve to serve his community ie Mohjair, saying that he always keeps Pakistan and his community's interest close to his heart. Responding to a question regarding military operation against Taliban, he said that those who are fighting against Pakistan Army should be fought back with, while others can be brought to table.
