ISE index improves slightly

Bulls dominated the proceedings at the Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) on Monday, where equities continued to move in upward direction with positive trend at the ISE amid increase in index. ISE Ten Index showed an improvement of 4.34 points as the ISE Ten Index moved from 4,483.25 to 4,487.59 points. The overall turnover amounted to 6,700 shares as compared to previous volume of 205,700 shares.
Total 156 companies participated in buying and selling activity. Majority of stocks (86) closed in positive territory, 70 closed in negative territory, whereas no company remained pegged to its overnight levels. The volume of Fatima Fertilizer was 2,500 shares. The volume of Fauji Fertilizer Co was 1,000 shares. The volume of National Bank was 1,000 shares. The volume of BOPRI was 1,000 shares.
