Iranian Interior Ministry spokesman has claimed they have found the place where the Iranian border guards, taken hostage, are kept in Pakistan. Hosseinali Amiri the Interior Ministry deputy commented on the release of 5 Iranian border guards taken hostage by Jaysh al-Adl terrorist group.
"The government considers Pakistan as the main responsible body for the lives of Iranian border guards, and would not care what the terrorist groups had done," said the spokesman, "the lives of these border guards are of prime importance for the government and diplomatic attempts should be directed to saving their lives."
The spokesman also said that foreign ministry was pursuing the case through Iran's ambassador to Islamabad. "Pakistan has expressed regrets about what happened and we found their goodwill in the issue when they promised to address and help in the release of 5 border guards," Amiri asserted.
He added that a delegation would set off to Pakistan to investigate the issue. "Last week, we dispatched a delegation to Quetta and established joint border committee," he said. "All possible measures would be exhausted to release these 5 border guards. We know that all of them are in full health. We also know where they are kept," Amiri told the press.
