Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif will inaugurate the 10th annual three-day Pakistan's largest auto show being held from March 6-8, 2014 at the Expo Centre here on Wednesday, Chairman Pakistan Association of Automotive Parts and Accessories Manufacturers (Paapam) Usman Malik told Business Recorder here on Wednesday.
Malik said the mega event had now become a trademark of Paapam showcasing the achievements of Pakistan's automotive industry and auto parts manufacturing sectors. Paapam regularly holds this auto exhibition in Pakistan under the logo of PAPS, on an annual basis. "Each year the show grows bigger and the upcoming mega event will be held with a lot of changes. This year we intend to give it a new face by making this show go international along with a lot of other new features," Malik maintained.
PAPS 2014 Chief Organiser Syed Nabeel Hashmi said the international auto mobile manufacturing companies, parts makers, service suppliers, machinery producers and tool manufacturers from across the world, including Germany, Japan, Taiwan, India, Malaysia and China had announced to display their products, besides introducing new brands at the auto show.
He said visitors from Belgium, South Africa, China, Sudan, Nigeria, UAE, Sri Lanka, India, Iran, UK, Bangladesh and Turkey had confirmed to attend the Pakistan largest auto exhibition. There will be cars, trucks, buses, tractors, rickshaws, motorcycles, antique cars, motorbikes and several new brands of different companies on display in more than 112 stalls of local as well as international companies.
The chief organiser said that a two-day knowledge seminar was also being held on the subject of "Developing Exporting skills" during the exhibition. Over 16 universities are also participating with their innovations and engineering projects and best entries will be awarded by the Paapam. CSR and Public safety campaigns are to be presented during the show.
