Two children were killed while three other people including a woman were injured in an explosion inside a house in Retra (Taunsa Sharif) in Dera Ghazi Khan on Wednesday. SHO Inspector Iftikhar Ahmed Qureshi said it was an explosion of hand grenade which caused the death of two children who were playing with it. He said children found a hand grenade and they took it to their home and started playing with it.
DSP Taunsa Waseem Ijaz said "we are looking into matter to find facts." He said Retra is closed to tribal area and it might be dropped by militants but could go off. According to Hospital sources, the explosion occurred at a house in Retra 60 km north of Taunsa, killing both real brothers Inyatullah (6 years) and Kalimullah (8 years) on the spot and inuring three others including their mother.
