Grams prices were sharply down on the wholesale grain market on Thursday in the process of trading, dealers said. On the cereals side, Moong Punjab fell by Rs 550 to Rs 11500 and Moong Peshawar also came down sharply by Rs 1000 to Rs 11500, Gur, however, low type was up by Rs 200 to Rs 5000 and the best quality was higher by Rs 300 to Rs 5500, other items maintained overnight levels, they said.
On the seeds side, cottonseeds oilcake with bag Sindh new low type was unchanged at Rs 1450 while the good variety was lower by Rs 20 to Rs 1530, they said. Prices were unmoved on rice sector, they said.
