At least two persons, including a woman, were injured when a time device explosion occurred at Dalazak Road in Peshawar on Sunday. Sources said that unknown persons had planted a bomb near the house of Hateeb Gul, in Corporation Colony area of Yousaf Abad. The blast damaged portion of the house and injured Hateeb Gul and his wife Zeenat Bibi.
Soon after the incident local rescue workers rushed to the site and shifted the injured to Lady Reading hospital where they were provided emergency medical treatment.
Police cordoned off the area and collected evidences from the blast site. According to bomb disposal squad around one and half kilogram explosive was used in the device.
