President Mamnoon Hussain and Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif have conveyed deep sympathies and condolences to President Hamid Karzai over the demise of Afghanistan's first Vice-President Marshal Mohammad Qasim Fahim. In their separate messages, the President and the Prime Minister have expressed sorrow over the passing away of First Vice-President Qasim Fahim, and conveyed that the people of Pakistan shared the sense of grief of the Afghan people, and prayed for the departed soul to rest in eternal peace.
They have also extended their sympathies to members of the bereaved family and the government and people of Afghanistan.
