Sindh government is responsible for over 100 children's death in Tharparkar district due to malnutrition. The casualties could have been avoided if the allocated wheat was distributed among people in time, stated a resolution unanimously passed by All Parties Conference (APC), organised by Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q), at a hotel on Sunday.
The APC was presided over by PML-Q Sindh President, Haleem Adil Sheikh, while PML-Q Secretary General Senator Mushahid Hussain Syed was the chief guest.
Other leaders who participated in APC were MPA Khwaja Izhar-ul-Hassan of MQM, MPA Ms Nusrat Sahar Abassi of PML-F, MPA Hafeezuddin Advocate of PTI, Ghulam Shah of Sindh United Party, Ramzan Buledi of National Party, Qamar Bhatti, Saleem Haider, Aslam Ghauri, Allama Mirza Yousaf Hussain, Ghos-e-Azam and Qari Iqbal.
APC extended solidarity with the victim children's families of Thar. It urged all political parties to device an action plan for immediately holding local body election as per constitution.
Addressing the conference, senator Mushahid said that the federation had a deep relation with the problems facing province. He said that the situation in Tharparkar was not a natural disaster but it occurred due to the criminal negligence of Sindh government. He urged all political parties to play their due role in handling the situation.
Sheikh said that aim of APC was to solve the problems facing Sindh. He said besides Tharparkar situation, the province was facing several other problems.
He highlighted in details the deteriorating conditions of education and health sectors in the province and also informed APC about the law and order situation in province, particularly in interior Sindh.
