Abbott has been ranked as one of the top five overall employers in Pakistan, and also was named the number one employer in the pharmaceutical industry. The rankings were announced by ROZEE.PK, and based on a survey of 14,876 people from across Pakistan.
In the overall rankings of more than 760 employers in Pakistan, Abbott ranked fifth. In the pharmaceutical category, Abbott led from the front and attained the number one ranking with 65 percent of the votes. Career growth, brand image, compensation and benefits, better work environment and social responsibility were the key reasons for selection of Abbott as the most preferred employer.
"It is an excellent achievement for Abbott to be ranked as the number one employer in the pharmaceutical industry and as one of the top five employers in the country," said Arshad Saeed Husain, Managing Director, Abbott in Pakistan. "This accomplishment has been made possible by the highly talented team of professionals at Abbott who demonstrate excellent performance and unrelenting determination to deliver strong results for the company and the right products for the people of Pakistan.-PR
