Inspector General of Police (IGP) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Nasir Khan Durrani, on a complaint of a citizen, suspended three officials of Police Station, Khazana. The suspended officials included ex-SHO Mukhtiar Khan, ex-CIO SI Aslam and CIO SI Sabz Ali. IGP also ordered registration of criminal cases and initiation of departmental action for victimising a citizen through false FIR and faulty investigation.
The action was taken on finalisation of enquiry by the DIG (E&I). The inquiry against the delinquent officials was initiated on the complaint of a citizen, who alleged that the said officials had falsely implicated him on the behest of his opponent.
