Cash basis bids for hard red winter wheat were steady in the US Plains on Monday. Temperatures were warming up through the key wheat-growing areas of Kansas and neighbouring states. Protein premiums for railcar wheat to and through Kansas City fell 4-11 cents a bushel for 11.20- through 12.60 percent protein wheat and were unchanged otherwise. At the Chicago Board of Trade, KCBT hard red winter wheat for May delivery traded at $7.19-3/4 early Monday.
