Nine suspects held with huge arms, ammunition

Frontier Corps (FC) on Thursday arrested at least nine suspected persons and recovered a huge quantity of arms and ammunition during a search operation here. The FC spokesperson told the media persons that FC personnel lodged a search operation in Munawwar Colony area upon an intelligence tip-off, and arrested nine suspected miscreants. A huge cache of arms and ammunition was also recovered from them.
It was further reported that the arms included four SMGs along with 10 magazines and 750 rounds, two LMGs along with four magazines, a semi-automatic gun, a 3&3 rifle with 50 rounds, a 7mm, an 8mm, an RPG-7 along with 7 rockets, 10 hand grenades, bomb-fuse, 350 rounds of sniper rifle, 330 rounds of Kalashnikov, an ammunition belt, 225 kg fertilizer, a tent and six cellphones.
