FFC has touched new milestones with regard to successful business ventures while all set to establish new benchmarks for its future corporate endeavours. According to an announcement of the FFC here on Friday, this realisation was shared with the participant of 36th annual general meeting of the company.
The participants were informed that year 2013 proved to be yet another hallmark year in the Company's history with diversified investments in financial services sector, pioneering into food business as well as entering into a new era of venturing into renewable energy sector by commissioning of Pakistan's first ever wind farm project - FFC Energy Limited.
The company, during the financial year, achieved a net profit after tax of Rs 20.14 billion, for the year 2013, earlier, as recognition of the performance of the company, FFC has also been awarded 'First' position amongst top 25 companies of the Karachi Stock Exchange (KSE) for the Year-2012 as a continuity of its excellent track record.
Moreover, Company's annual and the sustainability reports for the year 2012 were adjudged as winners by Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan Institute of Cost & Management Accountants of Pakistan (ICMAP). FFC also received the Platinum Award from the Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce & Industry in 2013, for outstanding business achievement.
While sharing the achievements of the company with the participants, Lieutenant General Muhammad Mustafa Khan (Retd), Chairman FCC attributed this landmark success to the untiring efforts and dynamic strategies of the Company's management and employees.
