Taliban Negotiating Committee on Saturday briefed Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan about their meeting with Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan's key leadership. The Taliban Committee, met with Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan, headed by Maulana Samiul Haq and briefed the Interior Minister regarding their meeting with TTP Shura.
Maulana Samiul Haq said both the sides were keen to pursue the negotiations process forward, expressing the hope that process would lead to the logical conclusion in bringing peace to the restive areas bordering Afghanistan. During the meeting, the Interior Minister appreciated the efforts of the TTP committee in pursuing the Shura in bringing to negotiation table for restoring lasting-peace in the country.-PR
