He was talking to a delegation of women MPAs here in Chief Minister's Secretariat. He urged women legislators to remain ever ready for fulfilling their duty to the best of their abilities. Provincial Minister for Information, Shah Farman was also present on the occasion.
Khattak said that past rulers instead of thinking about the public welfare made only corruption as their goal while in government He said that past rulers, against bribes made huge recruitments leaving no space for the further employment in public sector organisations.
He said that now is the need that women, from both rural and urban areas, come forward to alleviate poverty and earn fair livelihood for honourable living.
He said through imparting different skills, according to situation of their respective areas, women can be helped to earn livelihood.
Khattak said the provincial government will extend full assistance to them. However, they should avoid bringing schemes with high risk of wasting of capital
He said d they are bringing such system in the province in which supremacy of law, justice and merit will be guaranteed in all sectors and even thinking of injustice with any section will not be possible.
He said there are lots of destitute women around us the women legislators should search such women out and prepare schemes to stand them on their own feet.
The government, he said will provide support in giving them practical shape. For this purpose, he said women legislators should hold their meetings on regular basis.
