At least 2 persons including a doctor were killed in two different incidents of violence here on Monday in the Metropolis. According to police and rescue sources Dr Shoukat, 40, was shot dead by unknown motorcyclists near Ayeshia Manzil in the jurisdictions of Azizabad police station.
SHO Irfan Asif said two persons came on a motorcycle and opened indiscriminate firing on Dr Shoukat's vehicle resultantly he succumbed to his injuries. It would be premature to say anything about the involvement behind this incident, An FIR was yet to be ascertained till filing of this story, he added. The body was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for autopsy. Another man was shot and killed by unidentified gun man in Lyari Jhat Pat market. The identity of deceased was yet to be ascertained, however, the body was shifted to Civil Hospital for Medico-legal formalities.
