Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) Spokesperson, Jan Achakzai, has said that Federal Minister for Finance, Ishaq Dar and Information Minister, Pervaiz Rasheed, met JUI-F Chief Maulana Fazalur, here on Tuesday. In a statement, Achakzai said that the Ministers discussed the on-going dialogue process with the Taliban and appreciated the stance of Maulana, as to keeping distance between the state and non-state actors while negotiating with militants.
They also assured Maulana that PML-N genuinely wanted to resolve the issue through talks. They said that dialogue will not be used as a ruse for military operation. They also assured that people of FATA will also be taken on board at some stage. The Maulana appreciated the Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif's efforts to take politicians on board on dialogue issue. He will also likely to have a meeting with Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif in next couple of days in Lahore.-PR
