Finland Ambassador in Pakistan Rauly Suikkanen visited Lyallpur Museum here on Tuesday and witnessed historical and cultural items. Training Manager Finish Museum Association Leena Tokila was also present on the occasion. Director Lyallpur Musium Mian Attiq apprised the Ambassador of the development stages of this area, civilisation, historical buildings and personalities and other cultural aspects of this land.
The Ambassador took a detailed round of the museum and appreciated the efforts of preservation of culture heritage and research in this field. He said that Finland and Pakistan were taking benefits of education and research in the museum logy of the both countries and such activities would continue in future. He took keen interest in the civilisation of this land and art of historical building constructions and said that Lyallpur Museum was a very useful project for the information of history students and the common citizens.
