The concluding ceremony of a week-long public administration marketing arena (PAMA) fun fair festival was held in the Shaikh Ayaz Auditorium of Arts Faculty Building, University of Sindh (SU) Jamshoro, which stressed the need to promote business culture & entrepreneurship by organising more and more festivals on the campus in order to make the students aware of the importance of a private sector and the challenges of new era in marketing field.
The participants expressed joy on the information that a team of SU students will leave for Thailand to take part in various competitions which are scheduled to start from the next month in NIDA University, Bangkok. The PAMA fun fair was organised by the Department of Public Administration, University of Sindh (SU) in collaboration with Bureau of STAGS in a bid to learn marketing principles, gain ideas through projects, practice in business establishment (free enterprise), create healthy atmosphere, promote free business culture and provide entertainment to the society
The ceremony was chaired by the Advisor Bureau of STAGS Professor Muhammad Yousif Pardesi whereas among others Professor Dr Shabir Shaikh, Muhammad Khan Burdi, Muhammad Mashooq Siddiqui, Professor Khalid Noor Panhwar and Professor Abdul Jabbar Keerio also participated in it. Approximately 35 faculty members, officers & students who performed well in arranging, maintaining & easing the festival were awarded certificates of appreciation which include university spokesman Nadir Ali Mugheri, Muhammad Mashooq Siddiqui, Abdul Jabbar Keerio, Dr Imamuddin Khoso, Deputy Superintendent Rangers Javed Iqbal, Inspector Jamshoro Police Muhammad Khan Birhmani, Ghulam Mujtaba Jalbani, Rashid Ali Silawat and Ghulam Nabi Kaka.
The 10 students Sundus Memon, Salahuddin Chandio, Mubashir Ahmed, Zubaida Soomro, Shahid Hussain Jamali, Erum Bhutto, Azam Khan, Sajid Iqbal Khoso, A.D Junejo & Imtiaz Ali Khaskheli were given the T-Shirts (upon which the monogram of public administration department was printed) in recognition to their services as they set up stalls in befitting manner.
