Mobilink Foundation continued to celebrate "Pakistan Day" by conducting a clean-up activity on Trail-3 of the Margalla Hills. The annual activity involved nearly 280 participants, including Mobilink Torchbearers (employee volunteers), their families and students from the PehliKiran School System.
The environment-friendly activity was aimed at promoting the need to preserve Pakistan's natural habitats and marked Mobilink Foundation's dedication to promoting a healthier lifestyle with Mobilink employees and their families participating in the clean-up of Trail-3 from the base all the way to Monal.
The initiative was aimed at promoting national identity and pride through providing an opportunity to the students from the PehliKiran School System to celebrate Pakistan Day and encourage them to make their community clean. Omar Manzur, Head of Corporate Communications, Mobilink shared his views on the occasion, "23rd of March is a day to demonstrate our obligation and dedication to Pakistan. The Mobilink Foundation is the curator of Mobilink's Corporate Responsibility initiatives and we continue to put an emphasis on the preservation of the natural environment as well as the promotion of a healthier lifestyle for the benefit of our employees and the societies in which we operate."-PR
