The University of Agriculture Faisalabad (UAF) will set up a state-of-the-art hostels for 1000 students at main campus in order to catch up the residential needs of growing students, said UAF Vice Chancellor Professor Dr Iqrar Ahmad Khan.
He addressed the students at Hostel Renovation and Beautification Competition arranged by Office of the Hall Warden. He said that a comprehensive plan had been mapped out to build the hostel. He said that the students' enrolment at UAF had surpassed to 16,000. The University was making all out efforts to provide the modern facilities to the students.
He said that keeping the increasing enrolment in view, the University has also allocated the six residential houses to be replaced for women hostels. He said that the university was taking all possible measures to ensure the quality education at the campus. Hall Warden Professor Dr Muhammad Amjad announced the results of the hostels beautification. In the component A Zainab Hall got the first position whereas Faisal Hall and Ayesha Hall stood second and third, respectively.
In the component B Ayub Hall clinched the first position whereas Fateh Hall and Teepu Hall stood second and third respectively. In the component C, Afzal hall, Sir Syed Hall and Liaqat Hall stood the first, second and third respectively. In the component D and E, Khadija hall and Amina Hall stood first.
