The three-day annual Urs celebrations of one of the greatest Punjabi Sufi poets, Hazrat Shah Hussain, commonly known as Madho Lal Hussain, started here on Saturday drawing thousands of devotees and enthusiasts from all over the country. Provincial Minister for Auqaf Atta Muhammad Manika inaugurated the Urs along with Provincial Secretary Auqaf Dr Saqib Aziz. It may be mentioned here that Shah Hussain (1538-1599) was a Punjabi Sufi poet who is regarded as a Sufi saint.
