At least 4 persons were killed in the metropolis on Sunday. Three dacoits, including a woman, were killed by police during an encounter occurred near Rose Petal in Kaniz Fatima Society in the jurisdictions of Sachal Goth police station SSP Malir, Rao Anwar, told Business Recorder that the incident took place when police received a phone call about the presence of dacoits in the said area, reacting on that police reached at the spot and found them looting a house near Rose Petal.
All the three dacoits, including a woman, were killed during an exchange of fire with police.
"The woman was the key figure to help her accomplices to barge into the house." He said. The bodies were shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for Medico-legal formalities.
In another shooting incident, Shehzad,35 son of Abdul Waheed, was killed by unknown person near Bilal Masjid in Orangi Town No-6 in the jurisdictions of Orangi town police station. SHO Tanveer Murad said the deceased was resident of Surjani Town and worker of Unit No-131 of Mutahida Qaumi Movement (MQM).
